My World Tuesday: Town Hall in Semily

This is the Town Hall in Semily (14 kms from Lomnice) in Hus Street. The original wooden building was built in 1691. Unfortunately, fast destroyed. The new hall was opened in 1874. In the building was a library, a credit union, a theater, a hotel and restaurent and food store at that time too. (www.semily.cz)

MŮJ ÚTERNÍ SVĚT: RADNICE V SEMILECH
Budova radnice v Semilech v Husově ulici. Původní dřevěná stavba byla postavena v roce 1691. Bohužel rychle zchátrala. Nová radnice byla otevřena v roce 1874. Budova sloužila zároveň jako knihovna, záložna, divadelní sál, dokonce i jako hotel s hostincem a obchod s potravinami. (www.semily.cz)

V posledních dnech napadl nový sníh. V příštích dnech očekáváme spoustu sluníčka. Nemohu se dočkat.

By Angel is called this restaurant. You can find it on the historical Valdstejn square in Jicin. Early Baroque building was built before 1640. The front was rebuilt after 1768 as well as the rear wing.

U ANDĚLA
Tato restaurace se jmenuje U Anděla a můžete ji najít na historickém Valštejnově náměstí v Jičíně.
Raně barokní stavba pochází z doby před rokem 1640. Průčelí bylo upraveno po roce 1768, z téže doby je i zadní křídlo. (www.mujjicin.cz)

This is the primary school building in Jicin. You can see the coat of arms of the city on the top part (see the shot below too). There is the protecting net because of the pigeons. Two birds just were there when we went there...

Stone Bridge in Libstat (I)

This bridge in the village Libstat was originally built in 1822 and encludes the statues of St. Jan Nepomucký and St. Václav. Both are from the end of 18. century. 3 years ago was the bridge repaired. This shot ist almost one year old.

Tento most ve vesnici Libštát byl postaven v roce 1822 a obsahuje sochy sv. Jana Nepomuckého a sv. Václava. Obě pocházejí z 18. století. Most byl před 3 lety opraven. Tento snímek je starý téměř rok.
